Hey all

I am getting a bad high pitch sound when I try to listen to AM radio. It doesn't matter if car is running or not. I just want to hear my favorite radio show- Coast to Coast AM with George Noorey and Art Bell, at night when I am driving.

Angel

boom, boom, boom boom....

Check to make sure that the antenna has a good ground. Unplug the lead tip from the back of the radio and use a meter to measure the resistance to ground from the outer antenna shield to a know good ground with the ignition off. You should get less than 0.5 ohms for a reading. If not repair/repalce the antenna to get a good ground. What is the vehicle?
