I have an Older HCCA Orion 425 amp. This amp is rated at 25x4 at 4 ohms. My problem is that this amp increases power like a mother****** when you drop the load down. I am trying to figure out what this amp does at 1 ohm mono hence giving me 2 channels. I have heard all sorts of numbers but have no way of doing a bench test for RMS wattage. Also I know you used to be able to get the power supplies in these amps respun to increase power by sending them back to Orion but I have not been able to find out if this can still be done and how to go about. Any help would be apperciated.

Its 25x4 @ 4ohms and 200 x 4 @ .5ohms. These ratings are at 12 volts. The 400BDG bridging module is a must if you plan to run subs. I miss the old school hcca's.
