I have a 12" JL W0 and i can't decide if the i should buy the JBL BP-300.1 or the US acoustics USB-600D. Are either of these amps good choices? I want something that will push it to its full potential without blowing it. By the way the reason im comparing these two is because i can get them for similar prices on sound domain.com.

Does anyone know if the US acoustics amp will be too much for this sub?

Your W0 is rated at 125 watts RMS, so both of these amps are potentially overkill for this sub.  The US Acoustics is probably safer since the output is closer to the sub.   An Alpine MRP T220 would make a nice match if your sub is the 4 ohms model.

would that alpine 2 channel amp be "aggressive enough" for my sub since its only a class AB? Just to see wat the local shop would say i told them about my setup and the reccomened like a 300 watts RMS kenwood amp. I thought that was way too much and asked about a similar priced eclipse amp that puts out about my subs rated power handling and he said that its a good crisp and clean amp but isn't that aggresive when driving subs. Right now my amp is a power acoustik AB (supposedly rated at 170 watts rms and 300 peak).

I would go for the JBL. US Acoustics makes a good amp, but they dont send out much power on a single 4 ohm load. I am running a single JL 10w1 on a Punch 301m (150 x1) and it sounds unreal. The amp was really cheap too being last years model.

yes i would also go with the jbl i have them for all my speakers and was running 3 jl audio 12w6s and i had them on a 600x1 jbl power and that setup go some attention, it sound really nice, i had a alot of amps on that setup and the jbl is the best, i had a , Alpine, audiobahn, menphis, sony, and a few others. go with the JBL and turn the boost down about half way and you will be good.
