splicing rca connectors to din cable

Just to make sure I am correct...

if this was the layout: pin 1 : +12 Amp Signal, pin 2: ground, pin 3: Left front, pin 4: right front, pin 5: left rear, and pin 6: right rear.. then to splice RCA connectors I would take the wire from pin 2 and run that to the negative of all 4 channels and pins 3 - 6 would be the positives right? and I would connect the pin 1 wire to the amp remote from the head unit. I am pretty sure this is right but I want to make sure.

I did the splicing and installed a n alpine head unit today. Everything worked like a charm and it sounds awesome.
