I just installed an Alpine 9827 HU in my 97 voyager, which has the infinity system. The weirdest thing resulted. I have both dash speakers and both "C" pillar (rear door) speakers working fine, but the door and mid way back side panel speakers are not working. I have fade and balance control so I know all is hooked up.
A thought in the shower this morning was that maybe the 9827 is only outputting mid's and high's since I am using the subwoofer connections and that maybe the "missing" speakers in the infinity system have built in cross overs that are "below" the alpine's cutoff.
Any ideas?
TIA

Did you hook up the remote on wire to trigger the factory amp?

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

Yep. Like I said, I have four of the eight speakers working. Very strange. I'm not sure how the speakers are wired though. Their are four pairs at the deck, but eight speakers. Somewhere it must split, but who knows where?
