I ordered for an ARC Audio amp (reviews says its real High end) however since it hasnt arrived in 3 weeks, I am getting my money back and again have the dilemma of choosing a good amp for my system.
I am finding it difficult to choose between these two amp sets:
a) Nakamichi PA8001/4001   (Mono channel Amp)
   with a Nakamichi PA1004/2004 (4 channel amp)
          OR
b) a JL Audio 500-5   (5 channel amp)
which would you think is better in SQ? a or b?
Im not worried about having 1 or 2 amps, but my main concern is quality and more quality (sound that is).
Also I am not too sure if 100w per channel is enough for in car listening or not enough or more than enough. I dont want to go deaf either.
Thanks.

I'm biased, but I'd say Nakamichi is the clear SQ winner.  I use a PA-2004 in my personal car.

What amp did you use for the remaining 4 channels? Are they Naks too?
The CD400 that I purchased really made a huge difference in SQ in regards to the Sub. My Alpine HU was great in the highs and mids but the lows quality in the sub output were nothing compared to the CD400.

I am currently running Nakamichi for my mains, McIntosh for my center channel and mid-bass, and PPI for my sub.
