Okay i have a 94' caddilac seville, non bose. It has the 10 ohm speaker setup. I bought the metra head unit mount kit and harness 70-2001. this harness doesn't come anywhere near matching the plugs off the stock head unit. Is it the wrong adapter or am i doing something completely wrong?

on this application, there is a box in the trunk, either on the passenger side wall, or on the rear deck, I can't remember right off on the seville, you will find your harness there, you will also need an antenna extension, the antenna is actually in there also. This is actually the brain for the head unit in the trunk, the dash is more of a sending unit. Never did care for working on Cadillac's for this reason.

The way we usually do it, it is a standard GM harness, which is the 70-2001 you already have, and run wires to the dash from the trunk. I am not sure if they actually do make a long harness for this application, though they may, we just run our own.
