Okay so my friend sold me two brand new 12" subwoofers, and two brand new 600W 2 channel bridgable amps. I already have a wiring harness and need to buy a dual 12" sub box. My question is this. What is the best way to wire these amps to these subs? Ill have two subs hooked up to a common terminal at the back of the box. How should I wire the amps to make the best use of them?

No, dont wire them to the same terminal at the back of the box. Get another one, drill it behind the second woofer, and wire them seperately. Also make sure you get a dual chamber sub box.

I havent ever heard of a dual chamber sub box. Im assuming its just got a divider in the middle of it to make it like its two seperat boxes attached at the sides? If so, where could i get one of these boxes?

also one more question. If I am going to be using these two seperate amps, is there anything wrong with puting a Y at the pre amp sub out? so basically run a single RCA cable back to the trunk from the sub pre amp outs, then split it to both amps. Is this the correct way to wire them?

Get an enclosure that is suitable for the subs....what are they?  And the Y cable is one way to send signal to two amps.  The other way is using the full-range output on one amp to send to the second amp.
