Sup people need some help. On my bro's accord he has a jvc deck that you could turn on without the switch being on. ?i think its called direct current? Well, his bus fuse that goes on the 12v constant wire pop i disconnected the red and yellow and put a new fuse. once i connected it again it didnt turn on. It only turns on with the key. The deck doesnt save anymore, like the stations or the last song i left off from a cd. Can anyone please help. Thank you

The RED goes to a 12 volt sorce that only gets HOT when the key is ON

The YELLOw goes to a CONSTANT 12 volt sorce

They are protected by seperate fuses!!  (factory)

At your factory fuse box...check the fuses.

Behind the dash at the harness the red goes to yellow/red

The yellow goes to white with a yellow or blue stripe

What you mean a wire harness adapter. I just connected it directly from stereo wires to car wires.

I checked the fuse for the radio and it was still good.

I just connect the stereos wiring to the cars wiring directly wiht no adapters. I checked the fuse for the radio

and it was still good. Also i tryed connecting the yellow and the red separately and the stereo wont turn on

unless i connect them together. Oh also the clock on the car also resets every time i turn on the car.
