A colledge came in to my shop today with an opti2000d, and 2 opti1232D'd 1100 rms 2ohm dvc's

amp specs 1100 @ 2ohm, 1600 @ 1.3, 2000 @ .5 I benched this amp @14.4 @2312 watts impressed me,

I put these subs in a ported enclosure wired them to .5 ohms they hit so hard these subs are massive. I have had nothing but trouble out of lanzar but this system was impressive. not sure what db yet my mic is in the shop for about 3 weeks but he will return so i can check. will have to see how the system holds up but sounded great.put them in a 1990 ford escort. upgraded alt and yellow top.

.5 ohms is a big load try going up to 1 or 2 ohm. lanzar is not the very best amp. it's ok, there are worse amps out there.

That is rather strange... I have had nothing but trouble from lanzar... Bump up that ohm load to 2 ohms and you'll get less power, but a lot cleaner and better sounding power.

i have heard amazing things about the optidrive amps so far. considering I can order them for less then $300 I might have to order a few to play with and let everyone know my thoughts as well
