Whats up all?  I was wondering about something.  I am getting a 99 Grand Am this weekend.  I am wanting to put a little something in it.  In my old car, which was a hatch back, I have a kicker Solo Baric 15, it was an older one, before they were square.  Anyway the mother pounded, I was running a PG 300, bridged to it, it was a single voice coil.  Later I had two MTX 12's before they were silver, the were balck paid like 120 for two.  They were being ran by a Kenwood 600.  I had it bridged then split into two + and two -.  Then to the subs.  Sorry I am not the most technical guy.  Anyway now I am wanting to do something else with limited money.  The amp I want is 150.00 at best buy.  Its a kenwood 1000 Mono amp, doing 400x1 at 2 ohms or 200x1 at 2 ohms.  Or a Kenwood 800 for 120.00 and it is 460 bridged it doesn't say what ohms.  Now to the subs,  either want to do 1 kicker comp vr 15 DVC, or two 12 comp SVC.  I am looking for some sh*t to pound.  What shoud I get, and hwo should I hook it up to get the most out of the amps and sub, subs?  Also why is the 800 doing more then the 1000.  Also I really liked the kenwood before, especially with the price.

Well, hmm.
1) Determine how much trunk space you are willing to dedicate to this.
2) You probably like rap, right? You'll probably want a ported box. This requires more space.
3) AFTER you determine which subwoofer you need, THEN determine which amplifier you want to buy. I don't think I'd actually consider either of those amplifiers, but to each his own.
Link us the amplifiers you are considering AFTER you select the woofers. An incorrect load to your amplifier could damage it.
Do you have anything against going ebay or ordering from the internet? I think MUCH better values can be found online at that price level.
Also, one of those amps is probably a 2 channel amplifier, the other a 1 channel amplifier.

Ordering from the net is cool.  Why not the amps?  Are not doing what you think that say?  Here is the link.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=cat12085&type=page&sc=ALL&qs=kenwood+amps&cp=1&sp=Relevance&mipp=25&uq=kenwood+amps&_requestid=103663

You can't read much more on them right now.  They are all out of them and not letting the link open.  Anyways.  I am going to have the entire trunk to dedicate.  Why port the box?  I thought that it would hit harder if the sub was sealed.  I do like rap.  And will probably listen to that more than anything.  I would rather have one sub.  Because I can only afford one sub and one amp.  I have a little girl and really can't afford alot.  I do want something that is respectable.  I really want it to hit.  And I know that I made little money go a long way before and was pounding both systems I had before.  So if I go with the 15.  Which amp?  Which will produce more power.  I could probably spend liek 200.00 on a amp, what do you recommend?

What happens if i order from e-bay and get something that is blown?
