I have a PPI 2360 running in bridge mode to one subwoofer.  I have been using the amp for about 7 months without any problems.  I recently disconnected the amplifier to clean out the trunk.  I reconnected the amplifier with the ground cable on the battery disconnected.  When I reconnect the power to the battery, the two on-board fuses on my amplifier blow and the amp goes into protect mode.  Any ideas on what the problem is?amp problems -- posted image.

sounds like a diode on the amp pc board is out ,or some how you damaged the power supply... if it keeps blowing fuses seek repair Do not put in bigger fuses

amp problems -- posted image.Hey Craig, it turns out that I am just an idiot.  I thought my PPI was fried, so I went to connect another amp and realized that I mixed up the power and groud wires.  I got some wiring free from a friend years ago when I first installed the system and the power and ground wire are the same color.  I thought I knew for sure which one was the power and which one was the ground, but I did not check to make sure.  I reconnected the PPI and it works fine.  Sorry for the stupid post, but at least I learned to check the wiring before installing.

well mwhcai1  we all make mistakes .always verify the wiring w/ a logic probe or VOM regardless of the wire color! and remember amps should not smoke even if they are of legal age...:)

Might want to put black electrical tape on the ground wire,  so in the future you can tell the difference between power and ground.
