hey guys

today i was just installing my friend system in his caar

his has a deck already installed

and all i had to do  was install front splits...........subwoofer n two amps..

the funny thing is.........the amp won't turn on unless the headlights are switched on!!

anyone plz anyone know what the problem is? or have any clues?

i have checked all the wiring.........all is correct.........i personally did not install the deck.......my guess is it could be wiring from the deck connected the wrong way?

help me plz!

Most likely you tapped into the headlight wire for a switched power supply.
Does the amp come on if the car is off and you turn the headlights on? If so it's what I said above.

What happens to the deck itself when the head lights are turned on?
Will the amps turn on if the car is off and the headlights are on?

when the cars off the deck plays as normal

its plays normal just without the amp connecting to the subwoofer n  front splits

when u turn on the lights the amps turns on...............wen the car is off aswell...

like if u take the key out.....obviously its a no go but wen the keys swtiched to ignition and acc its turns on by switichin on the lights

IS THE REMOTE WIRE BLUE? try hooking the remote to the red wire off the deck and see what happens.
