'96 Nissan Maxima SE /w Bose

I have been looking everywhere for the correct wire colors for the connectors behind my Bose radio. The CD player has stopped working. I have a Sony HU but I have no idea which wires to connect it to. I was told that I could use the PAC interface and temporarily use my bose speakers with the Sony HU. I have the interface but not the Bose wire colors. I went to carstereohelp and got the pinout which I thought was correct. I connected the constant and ACC wires and the Sony HU turned on but when I connect the to the speaker leads I got no sound. I even spliced a couple of RCA cables and tried connecting them to the bose wires but still got no sound. My only conclusion is that I have the incorrect wire colors.

I really can't understand how the power wires could be correct but the speaker wires arent. Am I doing something wrong? The sony HU is in perfect condition.

your speaker wires are probably correct but if you have a bose system then you gonna need to bypass your factory amp in order for your speakers to work

Ok. So even though I have the interface for the bose speakers I still have to bypass the amp?

I just found out that there is a wire on the pinout that says "amp on signal". If this is not connected will I not get any sound? Do I need to connect this to a 12volt signal?

no u need to connect this to your amp turn on wire

Ok. That makes sense. I'm assuming that this is why I got no sound.

yea because thats what turns on your factory amp so just find that wire and u should be fine
