I made a box for my dodge ram (see pic) and there is only about .58cu/ft of air space per side. i was wondering if anyone knew of a good 12" sub that would do well in that little of space, that is some what affordable ($100-$175). i am curently running 2-12" RF punch 1's in there and they arnt nearly loud enough. and if anyone knew of a good reliable website that has some stuff for pretty cheap.

0.58 cu/ft for a 12 sub, that is almost impossible, maybe for 10" but not 12"

And thats is if you want good sound from your system,
However You could try different brands of woofer
and maybe you will find something that sounds as good as it looks (the job that is)

i would like to get some 10" but i already have the holes cut, i spent way to much time making that box out of fiberglass and doing it agian would kinda suck, i have heard that if i just use more power and more capable subs then it should help cancel out the small box. but i am some what new to this so any advice helps a ton.
thanks,
P

The smallest airspace required for an 8" is 0.3cu/ft

The smallest airspace required for a 10" is 0.5cu/ft
The smallest airspace required for a 12" is 0.75cu/ft

But these subs are made by Boston Acoustics and are costly

Both of these links have websites listed, just search through them there is a lot of great info in these two.

Both the Pioneer and the Blaupunkt are mentioned.

I'd go with the ID's recommend subs for small sealed box? -- posted image. They are still a little more shallow than these two. Unfortunately I haven't listened to either one of these subs. Looking at the specs they are fairly similar, however the D3 series subs are not Diamond's shallow mount sub nor do they fit your air space, the DS series are the ones that are suggested.

I don't think these pioneers you have selected will fit the air space requirements either.
