I swapped out the factory subs in two bazooka 8" tubes I had. I got one tube for free and the other for dirt cheap so I figured what the hell.
I ordered two Rockford Fosgate 8" Stage 1's for $80 from crutchfield.
I'm running 160 watts rms to each sub and they actually sound halfway decent. Nothing SQ mind you, but they do hit.
If anyone plans on doing the same, just be sure to find the mounting surface diameter of the sub and make sure it matches up with the bazooka tube. The tube has a recessed lip that the sub has to fit into. The volume of the 8" tube (not including the port) is .52 cubic feet, but I added about 3/4 of a pound of polyfill also.

I had to use bazooka tubes because they are being used in a weird shaped enclosure and there wasn't room to fit anything else into it.
