most any electonics part store should have one. I got mine from ebay. To test head units 10 amps should be fine, that should run you about $40-50. The one I have is a pyramid, it's 12 amps Here's an exampleLife moves pretty fast; if you don't stop and look around once in a while; you could miss it.

Horns did say HEADUNITS. To REALLY TEST amplifiers, not just hook 'em up, and see if they turn on, 10 to 12 amps will not me enough... you will be looking at about 50 to 100. I have a 100A power supply in my garage specifically for testing power amps. It weighs about 200 pounds, and is 30 inches tall!It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I use a Rosewill RE502 34amp PC power supply for hooking my amps up. Works great for most amps and only costs $50 from Newegg. Like haemphyst said though, for any of the big amps that draw more than 34amps you are going to need a big ass power supply. Using a pc power supply you will also have to modify it so all of the yellow +12v wires are together and you have the grounds all together also.
