blowing fuses on PPI a600.2

I have an older PPI a600.2 driving a JL Audio sub.  The amp just started blowing fuses at moderate to loud listening levels.  I have  a 120 amp fuse under the hood that goes to a fused dist block.  The  amplifer has a dedicated 50amp fuse at the dist block.  The cable is less then 10" and totally visible.  It is the only fuse blowing.    The onboard 60amp fuse on the amp does not blow.  Any Ideas?

bad ground or connection somewhere...something is touching something it shouldnt somewhere in that line...
