most of the time thing such as the airbag light are triggered when one of the acc. wires is not powering up during remote start. Does the light turn off when you put the key in and take over the vehicle?

very rarely does disconnecting the battery ever reset the airbag light. I would first make sure 100% that all of your connections are correct and that all of the ignition/acc wires are tagged correctly. If everything checks out, bring it to the dealership and tell them that you do NOT want it diagnosed, just cleared. If they diagnose it, you will be looking around $150, but if you just have them reset it, its usually around $50.

the clarion unit is that a remote starter?   or an indash dVd?  if its a dvd did you have the seat out?  you can not clear airbag codes by unhooking the battery in any new chrysler vehicle

Just buy a programmer for the truck that will read and clear DTC's + benefit from the other options like more power, better fuel economy & other features.

Most programmers/code readers will not read airbag codes, they are on their own bus....
