I am new to this site and there appears to be a lot of knoledgable people here, so if you will bear with me I have a couple of question regarding installing a Viper 790XV in my 1997 Ford F150XLT. My truck has the OEM keyless entry and factory so called "Thief" system. No PATS.  I had perviously installed a AutoCommand remote starter which I have used those wire to wire up to the Viper.  My question's are as follows and I might sound winded but any help with these questions whould be greatly appreicated,

1.  Why are there two sets of wires for the door switch? first "12-pin H1 bundle", VIOLET (+ door trigger) & GREEN (-door trigger) & were do I pick these up.  Then on the "3-pin 2-way door lock bundle" I know that I have negitive door locks so the BLUE is suppose to go to - unlock output and the GREEN to - lock output? Again Where to pick these up and do I just piggy back these wires to the truck wires.

2.  "Domelight Supervision relay B/W" what does this intail. Is this what I need to hook up so when I unlock the doors with the remote or you lift the door handle the interior lights come on? where and how?

3. "H1bundle ORANGE Starter Kill relay wire" this is prewire with a relay on it with greeen/BLACK / YELLOW wire's out of the relay. Where does this hook up to?

4. "3-pin aux. harness "LTG/B (-) factory disarm/special accessory output".  Is this the wire to disarm the facorty alarm when the doors lock? again where to hook up? and along with that the "BLUE wire on H3 programmable output (-) status/factory security rearm output"

5. H3bundle vehicle third ignition wire" The remote start had me wire this up with a relay. Do I just connect the  BLUE/BLACK wire to the wire off the relay? I all ready have the relay going to ING 2 under the colum?

Again sorry for all the questions But I have installed alarms before on my older cars with a lot less detail in wiring them and could not see paying $200 for the install that I figured with a little help I could do. If it would be easy you can email me with your help to res2cue@cox.net.

Thank's again in advance & waiting on a reply to finish,

Ken

Notes:
NOTE: Some models of this vehicle are equipped with PATS (Passive Anti Theft System). Use DEI module 555F to over-ride during remote start. *1 Power this wire if vehicle is equiped with only rear anti-lock brakes. Vehicles with all wheel anti-lock brakes do not have this wire. *2 Negative pulse, type 'B', on keyless entry models. Five wire, type 'C', on non-keyless models, mastered from the driver switch. *3 May also be found at trailer connector next to diagnostic connector under dash. *4 If equipped with autolamps. *5 The BLACK / YELLOW catches the drivers door and the BLACK/ pink catches the passengers door. Use both wires and diode isolate each. See direct fax document #1076 for wiring information. The wires are found in there respective door harnesses. Both wires may also be found at the GEM module located above the fuse box. On models without a dome light delay use ORANGE / lt. green (-) at the light switch. *6 Arms when locked with the door open. To simulate, send a negative trigger to the lt. blue/white wire at the RAP module, located behind the light switch, while locking.    *7 The powertrain control module (PCM) is located on passenger side of engine compartment, to the passenger side of the battery, below the hood stay. It has a single 104 pin connector on it. Locate the WHITE/ pink at pin number 48 of the connector.
This is a good start. It appears that you have something close to this, but you should read through this info and compare the wires mentioned with those on your viper and most of them will match up and hence tell you most of the connections you need to make.
Here are some brief comments on your specific questions though.
1. These wires are for door triggers (for the alarm to sound when a door is opened, you only need the negative one) and door locks (these are for the keyless entry feature)
2. Yes that is what domelight supervision is, but you are describing a factory type setup, since an alarm will only trigger the domelight for 30 sec upon an unlock command.
3. The orange wire goes to pin 85 of the relay, Pin 30 goes to the key side of the starter wire and pin 87a goes to the engine side of the starter wire along with the starter output from the Viper.
4. This wire goes here:
FCTRY ALRM DISARM is dark GREEN/ purple and it is (-) found in the drivers kick panel.
5. Power this wire if vehicle is equiped with only rear anti-lock brakes. Vehicles with all wheel anti-lock brakes do not have this wire.
