viper 5701 python 872 or viper 5900?

i dunno much about your python 872 led, but i've had experience with the vipers in question, the programming isssues with the 5701 will only arise if ur fairly new at alarms, or if u didn't RTM the question of the remotes durability, let's face it, they are elctronics and aren't made to last forever, but with a little care they can give u a fair amount of service. let's say around 15 to 18 months without need for any probs except battery change, the zone bypass doubt well they are cool and convenient i think personally. in terms of preference i'd go with the 5701, kinda complicated to understand at first, but by far the hottest system. hope i could help.
