I have an autopage xt42-lcd system and really do not know much about alarm systems. This unit was already installed when i got the car i have now.
Ok, here is my issue. The alarm works fine all the time, till i get to work. Whether i am 200 feet from my car or 5 feet from it. Could there be some kind of interference maybe from another alarm system that is blocking the use of mine? Is interference with alarm systems common? I had a viper alarm system on my previous car and never had any issues, plus i do not know of anyone else in the parking lot that has issues with their alarm systems, factory or not.
Thank you in advance for you help and suggestions.

Please don't tell me you work at an airport or for the coast guard, those radars work in the 400mhz range and will nicely stuff your remotes, also microwaves although they are more likely to trip the alarm if you have a prox detector.
