Does anyone know what the fifth button (small button on side) does on the remote transmitters  that comes with the Commando 550-S? The system works great, but I can't find anyone who knows what the extra button does.

Thanks for any info...

I'm not sure about your model, however the 5th button on the side on my clifford is a shift button. Press once then one of the four for channel 5,6,7,8. Press shift twice then another button for 9,10,11,12.
