You have to actually crank the car twice for it to start...? What happens when you crank it the first time(car dash lights come on and just doesnt crank...car cranks and cranks but does not start...Or nothing at all,no lights- no crank...?) Where you up by where ignition harness attaches to cylinder.Make sure harness is plugged in tight. Have you checked voltage during the first turn no start...?

car will attempt to crank for not even a half second and then just stop dash lights and everythin turn on like regular. all my connections were made further down away from the key cylinder ill double check but pretty sure thats not the problem? im a little new to the alarm thing so how would i check the voltage during the first turn what wire would i check both sides of the starter wire

Connect black lead to ground...If these are the colors you have...Put red probe to each of posted wire and post results...The Remote Start works everytime...???Btw, Also test 12v and see what the voltage drops to during crank and post that too...And Yes check both sides of the starter wire during crank and R/S...

BatteryWHITE/ RED(+)IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS...Should have constant power(always 12-14 volts ...might be lower during crank 11v -12v)
viper 5900 remote start -- posted image.Ignition 1BLACK / YELLOW(+)IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS...Should read 12-14v in ON and Crank Position
viper 5900 remote start -- posted image.Ignition 2BLACK/ ORANGE(+)IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS...Should be same as IGN 1
viper 5900 remote start -- posted image.Accessory 1PINK/BLUE(+)IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS...Should have Power In ACC-ON(12v) - & Drop during crank to 0v then back to 13-14v
viper 5900 remote start -- posted image.Starter 1BLACK/ WHITE(+)IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS...Should only have power during crank(usually 11-14v)(Post what voltage is w/ 1st and 2nd start w/ key, try to get a reading when you experience the NO start)
