Ok so here is my problem maybe someone can help im confused.
i have a 2004 Grand Cherokee
Installing a Autopage RS1000
I have installed this alarm before in a GMC Jimmy no problems....
Installed a DEI 455j in this car.
Installed a starter kill relay..
Everything works but 2 things
1) when i turn key on and off the brain doesnt seem to notice this and go into program mode. I have verified the yellow wire on the main 6pin harness gets 12v when on and 0v when key is off
2) When i press the remote start button the key chain says "Remote start off" like it thinks it is running and shutting the car off?? I have traced, re traced and then some and can not seem to figure out why it thinks this?!?!
Help please

1. Not sure. Never installed a unit from that brand.....but you might try cycling the key a little faster, or a little more slowly.
2. Again not familiar with your brand, but the remote start portion might be disabled.   Hoodpin seeing ground? Safety control switch left in "off" position? Brake miswired and seeing power all the time?
