I am having quite a few issues that have been troubling me for over a week and I still can't get them figured out.
1. Parking lights will not flash. They are hooked up from the white wire on the alarm to the gray wire in the headlight switch. Polarity is set to neg with the fuse jumper on the alarm and still refuses to light up. I'm about to try it on the headlights and see if that makes a difference.
2. The starter wires are properly hooked up, separating the starter wire on the vehicle. But, for some reason I cannot start the vehicle with the key in the ignition. The starter never engages.
3. The remote start refuses to work. When I try to program the PKALL bypass, it doesn't program. And when I push the remote start button on my FOB I get the red error light, and I hear the alarm unit clicking as if it was flashing the lights 8 times. That means something about the Neutral Safety switch. But it is on a good ground, and that has been checked multiple times.
It's getting to the point where I'm about to just take it to a shop. I just don't know how much they would like taking over my half completed job... It's sooo close.... It's quite aggravating...
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Ok. I fixed the lights. Hooked it up to the positive wire in the kick panel instead of the neg behind the switch. And I changed the polarity on the Viper system.
All other issues still exist though.

what do you mean by this ??   separating the starter wire on the vehicle
im assuming you are installing a starter kill ?
there should be 2 wires coming from the heavy gauge harness a green and purple the green goes to the key side of the cut blue/white starter wire and the purple goes to the other side
as far as the pkall ive never used it hopefully somone else here can chime in on that

2. So, you cut the car's factory starter wire in half, and connected the Viper's purple and green to each side, correct?
I always forget which goes where because it's been a while since I've installed a DEI piece, but make sure you don't have the "key side" and "starter side" of those two wires backwards.
Also, if you haven't yet done so, hit the Unlock button on the Viper......if it's locked/armed the starter kill feature will be turned on.
Neutral safety: Sounds like you know what you're doing, but just to verify: If memory serves, there should be a small, BLACK/ white wire coming from the brain......that's connected to ground, correct?
There is a larger BLACK/ white wire, but that's for domellight supervision.

Well last night I got everything hooked up. Messed with the neutral ground a bit more and got that fixed, once that was fixed the PKALL let me program it.
But the one thing that is still boggeling my mind is the starter kill. It is hooked up properly, I've checked it numerous times but it still just won't work. I had to jump the wire at the harness that plugs into the Viper system so that the green and violet are connected. That basically just disables the starter kill.
Quick question. Wouldn't that be a little redundant since the Viper is arming my factory alarm which would go off if a key is inserted and it was armed. Is that wire used to start the car with the remote start? Or is it just the kill?
Thanks for the help.
