hey all, my first post

I recently installed a remote start on my 99 dodge ram 1500. The starter works great.Keyless entry also comes with this system. The thing is i cant get the keyless entry to work. I have searched the forum, but am still not clear on what i have to do. From what ive read, i need some relays?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

What is the make and model of the remote start? Some have internal relays, most do not.

Assuming the truck did not come with keyless from the factory you would need to wire unlock and lock as 5-wire systems. Here is the diagram.

If the truck came with keyless from the factory with keyless you would use that diagram for just the unlock and this diagram for lock.

Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

For the vehicles without keyless entry, just 5 wire both unlock and lock wires.

I tried the 5 wire diagram , and i keep blowing the power door lock fuse. Any ideas
