How to Test IMI and IMO Wires?

How do you test for these wires also what is the purpose to use these wire for IMI and IMO is for a 04 toyota sienna

What are you installing and what are you trying to do? Sorry I am not familiar with IMI or IMO. I did look up the wire chart for the vehicle and didn't see a reference to those wires.

the imi and imo wires are basically a send and receive for the transponder, you cannot test them, I assume you are using a bypass kit xko5? if so the instructions will tell you the location at the bcm and the correct colors, they are always next to eachother or one is on top of the other, the new xko5 modules you wire at the transponder plug at the ignition switch, any questions ask away...  James

i am con fuse about thes wires the data wires RX and TX what do you use that for and the IMO and IMI wires again how you use them or hook them up can some one help out

The DATA RX and TX are for your bypass module. When you insert your key the cylinder around the Ignition cylinder sends a signal to the ECM that tells it that the proper key is inserted and the car is allowed to start. When you remote start the car you have to simulate this with a bypass module. After installing the bypass, you program it with the factory keys to replicate the signal that would otherwise be provided by the key going into the ignition cylinder. The RX and TX wires allow the signal to be sent from the bypass to the ECM to allow the car to start.
