Please let me know your thougts on these options for my 2010 Mazda 3 S 6 speed manual. I'm leaning toward the 3903V CanOem system by DEI and am waiting for it to be released. Talked to Progressive Mobile Electronics in San Diego and they said it should retain the factory features (the progressive door unlock I have programmed, trunk unlock, etc.). The CLIFFORD 330.3X and INTELLIGUARD 770 Clifford G5 may require interface kits, more sensors, and additional parts. the 330.3x is a robust two way system with a claimed 2,000 foot range. The IG 770 is a true Clifford system with dual immobilization and BlakJax anti car jacking.

FYI, DEI makers of the xpresskit, Viper, Clifford, etc. have updated their warranty policies. The specify comparable reconditioned parts. So if something goes bad you may not get a new part. The 3903 CanOem has a one year warranty. Viper a Clifford have a limited lifetime warranty.

My focus is on adding a shock sensor, door triggers, and siren. I don't have proximity key (the push button start feature). I also had two non fob keys cut and programmed them giving me the option of a non factory or non Canbus system. The 2010 Mazda has a smart key and I have LoJack. My goal is create a layered deterrent to theft by adding an audible alert.

Or consider the Avant Guard 5.1, dual zone prox and battery back-up siren versus glass-break any time. The immobiliser cuts are frankly a waste of time and dangerous.
