Good day all!
I am installing a remote starter on my 2010 dodge Ram quad cab slt with a PKUMUX transponder override module. remote starter is a valet 561r.
On xpresskit's site the PKUMUX is supposed to be standard application for my truck, however, when I look at the installation instructions, they refer to a 5 pin plug and a single Multiplex wire that I need to interrupt and connect to PKUMUX. All I could find on my truck was a 12 pin plug on the WIN. I got the pinout (from bodybuilder) and I don't see any Multiplex wire. All I have is a CAN C BUS + and a CAN C BUS -.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you !
Martin

Do you tave the "Tip start" key?

Or a regular metal key that goes into the igniton switch?

Ok, got the info, I've ordered the wrong module, since it's tip-start CAN type I need a CHALL instead, pkumux is for 2008 and older. Seems like the DEI website was wrong, and i'm stuck with a PKUMUX..
cheers

I wish they would have put a lock on the connector thoughdodge ram 2010 remote start -- posted image.

So be sure to put a wire tie aound the module to lock the connector in.
