Does anyone know if a Directed brand remote start will talk to a Fortin or ADS module through the D2D port or a crimestopper RS-4 for example, can be used with an xpresskit module over D2D.Also for flashing modules,Do the loader cables have any compatability between brands?Mostly just curious.

Thanks in advance,

Ken

Can a crimestopper work with a xpresskit module over D2D and can a DEI module talk to a Fortin bypass module over D2D?What about other brands? Can different brands be flashed with an XKloader or the Fortin flasher?Things that keep me up at night.

Thanks in advance,Ken

The answer to the last question is no.

iDatalink modules need the ADS USB cable.  That cable won't work on Fortin of DEI products.

Fortin modules need the FlashLink USB cable to flash their bypass modules.  That cable won't work on DEI of iDatalink modules.

The XKLoader2 cable is pretty much the same, DEI only, including the Optimax series ( which is a re-badged Fortin product.)

Soldering is fun!
