hooking up in a 2000 pontaic grand am here's my problem with no key justs cranks,with key justs cranks,with key in on position runs for about five seconds,with key in run position stars and stays running any suggestions because im really stummped

what bypass did you use and did you run a tach wire?

used omega db-pass-23a and yes ran tach wire

Are enough ignition wires powered up?

moved some wires around and now car starts but shuts down in like ten seconds with driver door open you hear chimes like key is in ignition and you also hear fuel pump kick on any suggestions?

i wired just like the manual said and had the problems that i have written above now moved orange wire to orange at the ignition harness and pink/white to dark green at the ingition now starts but only runs for like ten seconds the bypass did program moved jumper to operating position and hooked up tach wire and set unit to low voltage setting on unit because wouldn't work on tach setting if anyone knows about this i would greatly appreciate some help cuz im getting fustrated with it any suggestions or trouble shooting anyone has would be great!

good news got the unit working for those of you having problems with this system use the tach wire but don't use tach learn just change the voltage from high to low or low to high thats what i did and it works perfect now
trying to learn something new everyday!
