Hello Colin...is this the Colin I see all the time at www.carsound.com?

Anyway, the only information I have on the UK Fiesta is for 1991, and it's pretty sketchy.

If you can find the alarm's brain, unplug it and make sure everything else in the car still works.  (The alarm might also control the keyless entry.)

If you can find any tech info for your car, look for the "factory alarm disarm" wire.  It is usually tested by inserting  the key in the driver's door, and turning it to the Unlock position.  Hook up that wire to a permanent ground, and see if the rest of the car's features still work properly.

sorry, i thought it was a 1984 model lol i suppose it would have an immobiliser and alarm of sorts. it works on the door lock like most old fords. plays up often like most too.. the best thing to do with that is throw it as far away as possible! they r the no1 cause of breakdowns on fords. its been along time scince i removed / bypassed one. although im sure the module resides in the drivers kickwell area.
