Hello. I'm trying to install an alarm in my 1998 Ford Contour SE but I'm having difficulties with the power locks. This site, as well as a few others, say the wires are in the driver kick panel and that WHITE/ Green locks and YELLOW /GREEN unlocks. I found those color wires in the kick panel, but they appear to control the wiper motors. I've searched for other wires of the same colors but I can't find them. I opened up the switch in the driver door and found those color wires and they DO work as expected. I have no idea what else to try short of running my own wires from the door switch to the alarm. Any suggestions?

Look in the bundle of wires coming from the door.

move the carpet away and look for harness coming from door jam they are tuck really good.
