Hi. Iam doing remote starter on this car and i used a 1272 XR PRO UltraStart and Evo CHR as a bypass and locks. The problem is the car starts and shut off 3 times and then the parking lights flash 7 times which means tach lock up.How do i get all round of this when Fortin says this is a 15 minuts installation.I don't know how to fixed that .Any ideas .Thanks!

Sounds like the U1272 did not do a successful Tach Learn.

The U1272 should automatically set itself for the Fortin bypass but you could program the Menu 4, Setting 5 to Fortin.

Not sure if the U1272 is D2D two way compatible with the Fortin.

Try running the tach wire between the Fortin ( Pink wire ) and the U1272 (Blue/White wire ).  Do a Manual Tach Learn on the U1272.  Watch  for the parking light confirmation flash for a successful tach learn.

Soldering is fun!

Kreg is correct the U1272 doesn't look like it can pull the tach information from the data cable. Hook up the tach wire from the ultrastart directly to the fortin module. Here is a link of what features can be used through data between the fortin module and the U1272:

Tach is not listed.
