Hey guys.
I have a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. I am installing my Viper 5701,I have the DBALL bypass module. I'm pretty sure everything is connected correctly but I could be wrong.
H1 Harness
H1/1 to 12VDC
H1/5 to ground
H1/11 to parking lights
H2 Harness
H2/17to Brake
H2/18 to ground
(Haven't hooked up the hood pin yet)
H3 Harness
H3/1 to Pink
H3/2 to Red
H3/3 to Orange
H3/4 to Yellow
H3/6 to Red and White
H3/7 to White
H3/9 to Red
The bypass module is working. The doors lock and unlock, hatch and window included. Horn honks and parking lights flash.
My issue is the remote start when I go to remote start the vehicle it flashes or clicks 7 times. Which I know means that it is stuck in Manual transmission mode and needs to be reprogrammed to Auto Transmission mode.
So I have tried these steps to do so:
1. Open car door.
2. Cycle ignition key ON then OFF. Do the next step within 10 seconds.
3. Press and hold valet switch until LED flashes 3 times (siren chirps 3 times), then release.
4. Press and release valet switch once then press and hold. Siren chirps once.
5. While still holding the valet switch, press UNLOCK button of transmitter. Siren chirps 2 times.
6. Release valet switch. Cycle ignition key ON then OFF.
I get the chirps and lights on the "Valet switch" but when I go to remote start the vehicle it still flashes and clicks 7 times.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Thanks for the help guys.

I am not too clear as to your H3 harness is connected to on the vehicle.  When you go through the steps with the valet button, after you press the unlock button for the two chirps try releasing the valet button and wait for 30-45 seconds for the system to exit the menus.  You should get one long horn/siren honk/blast. See if that sets it . And make sure you have the toggle switch plugged in tight and in the ON position.

When all else fails, Read the Instructions

Sorry about that. This is what my H3 Harness looks like. I'm going to run out and try the programming again. I'll let you know what happens.
-Also I was told I did not need the second Ignition wire for my car as it probably controls the radio
H3/1 to Pink - Ignition Wire
H3/2 to Red - 12VDC Constant
H3/3 to Orange - Accessory Wire
H3/4 to Yellow - Starter Wire
H3/6 to Red and White - 12VDC Constant
H3/7 to White - 2nd Ignition Wire
H3/9 to Red - 12VDC Constant

Still no good. I did what you said waited after pressing the unlock button on the Viper fob and after about 30 seconds it sounded. I went On to off and still I get 7 flashes. I also noticed that when I push the unlock button it chirps once then I have to press it again ,where it then chirps twice.

@smokeman1
I got it. What it ended up being was I was not in the actual program mode to get it into Auto Transmission mode. I read another post that you helped someone else out with and saw that he said he wasn't actually in. I too was hearing 3 total chirps but not realizing that I actually needed to keep holding it until it chirped 3 times quickly back to back. Thanks for your help.
Now to button it all up.
