I recently had an Avital 4103 installed in my Altima. When I picked it up the Owner of the shop stated they were unable to have the parking lights come on when the car is started due to the way the car is wired...
After doing some looking around here, I found this link to the 2008 Altima: 2008 Altima Wiring
Would I be able to attach the +12v parking light signal from the remote start harness to the Parking Lights (+) wire as indicated in that diagram?

I checked the settings of the jumpers, and it sends a (+) signal. I will check everything with a multi-meter before hooking it up, I was just kinda taken aback that the installer said it wasn't possible, yet it looks so easy on paper.

Yea... sounds like the installer just didn't feel like connecting it. Which makes me wonder, what else didn't he feel like connecting. Make sure while you are under the dash take a look at all the connections they made. Make sure the connections are good and that they installed the hood pin and connected the tach signal wire.

From just pulling the gauge cluster and taking a quick look at everything, it looks pretty clean. I'll see how everything is hooked up once I have a little more time tomorrow.

So it took me about 20 minutes today to hook up the parking light wire and reprogram the brain from flashing to constant during the remote start.  I plan on taking a trip to the shop sometime this week to see the real reason they didn't feel like wiring it...
