Have have the dei window modules that i'm hooking up to my alpine 150 alarm.

The window modules have an output wire for when they are hot and the alpine has this wire called, "Ignition/Impact Disable Input" though it only mentions remote start.  I'm not using remote start, though i would like to be able to activate the window modules while the system is armed w/o setting off the alarm.  Can i just hook those 2 wires i mentioned up ya think?

Thanks,

Paul

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about...but I hooked up my window module to the orange (ground-when-armed) output on my alarm. The alarm doesn't go off when I open the windows. I believe the orange wire in this case is used to roll up the windows when the car is armed. Does that answer your question?

thanks, but no.  I've hooked up every thing and it works (lock, windows up), aux channel 2 window crack, aux3 for full down.

Everything works, it's just that i have the active output wire (hot when window mod is active) that I was thinking to hook up to the alarm disable wire(primarily used for remote start, so alarm isn't tripped by remote starting car).  I don't have remote start but would like to hook my window active wire to it so that I can roll down the windows while the car is armed and not trip it.

I was wondering if people on here though it would work.

Paul
