Hi,
I have an alarm installed on my 2010 Toyota Hilux workmate (alloy tray) and I have a micro-switch installed on one of the toolboxes in the tray. I have since purchased an additional toolbox and was wondering if it is OK to tap off the same wires and install another switch into the new toolbox? The wiring diagram shows an AUX output and specifies to use diodes to each switch. Do I use the AUX output or just join into the existing switch?
Thank you.

Just diode into the existing switch.
An aux output is a negative output.
You are wiring into an input trigger.
