Hi mates,
Trying to make a flip key using the circuitry of a Toad fob alarm, I have the AI606 installed, I have found that somewhere in the process it went destroyed. The LED turns on normally when pushing the buttons, but the car does not react. The other fob works correct, and I tried to reprogramme this flip but the car does nothing.

Can you recognise which component is the antenna? Could it probably be the original path all around the circuitry? All channels cut have been restored with wire, so I do not really know which is the problem.
Regards,
Dan.

Wow, I like the idea, and I hope you can get it to work...that would be really nice!
I would guess that the antenna is almost certainly, in your first picture, the light green trace running all around the edge, with small holes at regular intervals.
See if you can hold a short piece of wire onto where that was, and see if the remote will work.

That is already done, this is the down side. I also assumed that the trace all around was part of the antenna. But it does not work either... Probably the wire is too insulated?

I am going to buy another second hand fob, programme it, and try the conversion again. I don't think but... probably a component is damaged toad fob destroyed after diy -- posted image.
