I installed a crimestopper RS4 with a Fortin EVO-ALL into this blazer and would like to shut off the RAP after remote start time over and remote start abort. I have thought about using the OEM arm output to pulse the driver door status, but I am concerned about this setting off the alarm. So, I am wondering if BOTHE accessory wires are retained after the engine is shut off. I know the only accessory that the remote start is connected to is the Orange wire, but there is also a Brown wire. If one of these wires are not retained, I could run an alternate accessory wire to the radio, dis-ableing the RAP feature for the radio.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I went ahead and hooked the head unit up to the brown accessory wire. This way the unit is not even powered up at all during remote start. The only downside is that it is not powered up when the key cylinder is in the first position or the ACC position. It does not actually power up until the cylinder is in the IGN position. I don't think that this will be a problem, because he has an aftermarket amp and subs. I don't think he will be listening to the system much without the motor running.
Any thoughts on this issue would still be appreciated. In the past I never worried about the RAP circuit. I would let the RAP time out instead.
Thanks for a great forum

Most integrated alarm/remote starts will know when the drivers door pulse is sent from itself. You have multiple timing events taking place so it should not set off the factory alarm either. As in that should be disarmed prior to remote start sequence if present anyways.
In short, pulsing the driver door pin is the correct solution.
