I just installed a Python 5106 remote start and PKTX in a 2015 Ford F-250 Superduty diesel truck....I managed to get the PKTX to program after I set the glowplug delay to 2 seconds...The problem I have is after it starts it only runs for 10 seconds and shuts down ....
I'm running a direct tach wire connection to the PCM.....anybody have any ideas what's wrong ?

Will the vehicle remote start and run the entire duration with the key inserted and in the OFF position? If so the PKTX isn't programmed to the vehicle. Reprogram the PKTX to the vehicle.
If the vehicle still will not remote start and run the entire duration with the key inserted and in the OFF position, has the tach been learned? If not learn the tach. If tach learn fails to learn, check tach connection. If tach has been successfully learned and remote start still stops short with key inserted and in the OFF position check wiring and Python programming. If assistance is needed at this stage please list connections made between Python, PKTX, and vehicle. Someone will be in to provide further assistance.

The RS does not keep running when the key is in the ignition in the off position....One thing that I'm not sure of is the Data Bus wire colors....they seem to be interchangeable...By that I mean a 2013 F350 is PURPLE / gray pin 3 TX and yellow/orange pin 4 RX and a 2011 F250 is PURPLE / gray pin 4 RX and Yellow/orange pin 3 TX....could this be a problem ?
I did reprogram the tach....I've had A dirty tach signal before on Ford diesel trucks and had to use a tach generator module to make it work...

If the vehicle does not run with the key in the ignition on a remote start with the PKTX disconnected then the PKTX isn't the current issue. You may try another engine sense method to identify if you have a tach sensing problem.
The data on the 2011 F-250 seems incorrect, it should match the F-350 as they are in the same family and my data shows what you have for the F-350 should be correct. But when in doubt colors can change but pin assignment is harder to change. When it comes to connectors on devices, I always put precedence in pin assignment over wire color.

I did try different sensing methods (Virtual Tach, Voltage, and even Off) and they didn't make a difference....
I should have the truck back in my shop this week and I'll go through the wiring again.
These are the connections I made ...they are from a 2014 F 250...Do you have any info on the 2015 F250?

NOTE #2: ON DIESEL TRUCKS THE TACH WIRE IS WHITE/ GREEN AT THE "PCM" (POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE) ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE ENGINE, CENTER, BLACK 98-PIN PLUG, PIN 32.
As far as the PKTX I'm using the data port for the main connections and the PURPLE / white to RX pin 4, yellow /black to TX pin 3 , and pink to immo power pin 1

10 sec shutoff sounds like the immobilizer (pending shutdown diagnostics that state otherwise). I'd try W2W between the PKTX and 5106. Also make sure the RX and TX are connected in the right order (I go by pin assignment, can't trust wire colors). I'll also at PKTX programming requires two unique keys that are already programmed to the truck in order to program.
