Hey guys. I got a used 5902 from a coworker. He had it installed in his 2011 Ford F-150. I had it installed in my 2000 Ford F-250 today. I had a guy do it because I wanted to avoid issues. Everything is connected and working now except the door unlock. When you arm the alarm the doors lock, when you disarm nothing happens. He was saying that there is no signal from the brain. If that is the case, is there anything special about the previous install that might have required a change?
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Bg

If the unlock output is dead, the disarm output could be used instead

The Factory Alarm Disarm is a great suggestion. Here's a couple more:
The 5902 has 3 Aux outputs, any of which can be linked to disarm, same as Unlock. The RED / wht trunk release can be programmed for 2nd unlock, but this would require 2 pushes of the unlock button.
I looked at the programing guide, but I didn't see anything that might be preventing the unlock output from functioning from a previous installation configuration. I'm surprised the installer didn't figure out a work-around and just do it for you. Customer satisfaction, blah, blah, blah.
Did your coworker remove it from his truck because the unlock quit working?

ThanKs for the replies. I think he wanted to look into some options more first. Not a dei guy. My coworker bought a new truck and just decided to get the new version installed. Thanks again
