Did an Install in a 2010 ford focus today. Compustar cm6200 /blade tb
I had heard that certain model ford's have issues with the remote start setting off the factory alarm. So I decided to hook up the disarm wire. Only problem it was not in the harness that the sheets on bulldog security called for.
If I remember correctly it should have been in the same harness (26pin harness) as the locks in the ecm. I went to the correct pin location. No wire!
Does that mean there is no factory alarm? Am I going to have issues with the alarm going off?
Could someone please explain this ford alarm disarm issue to me.
Thanks in advance

Get in the car. Lock it with the RKE remote. Unlock the door with the MANUAL lock. Open the door. If no alarm, it probably doesn't have one. Or read the car's Owners Manual for instructions on how the factory alarm operates.
That's probably a more accurate check for an alarm than a non-existent wire. Wiring configurations change, diagrams can be incorrect, and individuals misinterpret where to look for wires.
Once you know if it does or does not have a factory alarm, you'll know whether you have to deal with the disarm issue.

And over this side of the pond we're having nightmares with the factory alarm.
Mine's a 2010 Focus 2.0L diesel auto estate factory loaded, inc PTS and PKE (Euro trim and suspension settings are much higher than the US, the Focus has a different target market in Europe).
I started out D2D with a 5906 and a DB-ALL 2, no locks or lights OR tach.
Now W2W and sorted but:-
1) Arm Viper walk away, disarm Viper, open a door and the factory alarm triggers.
2) Use remote start and the factory siren gives 4 chirps until R/S starts but at least when I disarm no factory alarm.
I've used the Vipers H2 factory alarm disarm wire via a relay to pulse the ignition, doesn't work!

Most of these cars have an alarm. The only way to disarm the alarm is to pulse the ignition and the transponder interface at the same time. You will have to hardwire your bypass module and not use D2D. You must diode isolate the unlock, trunk release and ground out when running wires. Each of these needs to activate a relay to pulse the ignition and your bypass module. If you want to get tricky, you can use another relay triggered by the trunk light wire to open and latch the trunk hood pin wire open. This will eliminate the alarm from activating when using the trunk release feature.

you shouldn't have problems with the factory alarm if there was no wire present. Instead of making the install messy with all the diodes/rewire follow the instructions below if in doubt.
since you're using a compustar and a blade-tb i assume you flashed it yourself ?
Go into programming Option 1, Feature 11, Setting options 2. (1-11, 2)
the unit will send an ignition pulse at the same time as a disarm pulse/unlock. because the blade is docked into the compustar, as long as that feature is turn on the bypass will turn on momentarily as well. Been there, done that.

See above:-
1) Pulse ignition (GREEN / WHITE on euros at CEM box) via a relay AND pulse status wire to my 556U. (Diode feed divided of course).
2) Turn off safe start (DOH!)
Job done with thanks to comments from Sparkie and a PM from Krerg.
