Long story short. My power trunk latch is useless. I would like to tap the wire that would normally pop the trunk which provides a second or two of 12v current whenever the button on the key fab is pressed to simply turn on and off LEDS in the trunk. However I am not sure how one could do this. I would like to press the button to turn LEDS on then again to turn them off since it's only a momentary signal. Any ideas??
