Hey everyone! First post here.
Alright. Just installed a Viper 5706v remote start in my 2012 Toyota Tacoma. Ran into a few issues.
I used a PK-ALL bypass and couldn't get the tacoma to start with they key. It would only crank. Ran down to a local B&M and got a cheap 12 bypass to test. The cheap one worked. Will be ordering a Fortin Bypass.
Now, I had to connect the viper lock/unlock wires. Made the connections in my kick panel to the blue/white and a grey. Truck locks and unlocks normally fine. Now, if the doors are shut and locked it can't unlock. The locks try to but don't. If the engine is running they can unlock.

Thought maybe I had to connect like this, but realized I can't because I used this diagram to fake the driver door opening when the remote start shut off.

Also, the factory key fob still works perfect.
Anyone got an idea on what is up? Thanks everyone!

Boy the more I look at that the more mistakes I see.
I meant to say I bought a 12$ bypass to test.

Use a DB-ALL or Fortin EVO-ALL.
You need to connect to the key sense adjacent to the ignition switch. It's a wire that goes to ground when the key is inserted, that will solve the lock/unlock problem when the engine is running.

There isn't a problem unlocking when the engine is running, just when it isn't and the doors are shut.

I don't think its the wrong unlock wire, since the truck can still unlock.
Should I connect the factory disarm like the guy did in this diagram?

And do I have to buy a firmware loader for the DBALL2?
