Sooo first off, I'm a novice with all this stuff, but I'm learning. I'm installing the Viper 5904 in my RX8, and it has been a nightmare. The alarm is successfully installed; my problem is the remote start. I've put it in auto trans mode to avoid having to do that procedure when I exit the vehicle. The clutch is bypassed, and I've installed the DEI 1100F bypass module, which seems to be working properly but I'm not sure. It flashes the correct number of times when I attempt remote start. I also currently have the engine checking mode set to read the tach wire.
Okay so when I hit the RS button on the remote, the parking lights flash, there are a few clicking sequences, then it shuts down, giving me "low tach signal" on the remote. (Note: when I had it on voltage mode, the error message said "low battery") There was no actual cranking. Same thing when I have the key in the ignition (off position). When the key is in the on position, I get the same result but the security light flashes rapidly. Shutdown diagnostic also indicates low or no rpms.
Last thing I can think of, I only get voltage on the starter wire (car side) when I start the car with the key. When I use the RS button I get no voltage.

The first link I listed for the wiring on my car didn't copy correctly. Here's the real one:
