Just finished installing the Avital 4113 one button basic remote starter but can't figure out what I'm doing wrong with the positive trigger factory alarm disarm feature. The factory alarm would activate if I were to use the RS to start the vehicle while armed. Not sure why the factory alarm wire is not getting the pulse it needs to disable the factory alarm when remote starting. Thus far I've used relay #775 with pins 30 and 85 to 12v constant, 86 to GREEN/ black of RS module, and 87 to GREEN/ orange factory alarm disarm wire in vehicle per diagram from Bulldog. I've wired the #775 relay with and without 680 ohm resistor separately to no available. I've also used a standard 4 pin relay with 86 and 87 to 12v constant, 85 to GREEN/ black of RS module and 30 to GREEN/ orange factory alarm disarm wire in vehicle per diagram from Directed. I've also used this generic relay with and without 680 ohm resistor without success. I did not use door lock/unlock nor factory alarm arm. The factory transmitter already has door unlock and lock (also arms factory alarm). Do I need to also connect door lock/unlock and factory alarm arm for factory alarm disarm to work properly? Are those relay diagarms wrong?
