Ok I am helping a coworker install a remote start and am having trouble getting it to work correctly. Currently I can unlock and lock the doors and when pressing the remote start button the IGN/ACCESSORY comes on but no cranking.
2007 Chevy Trailblazer 4.2L
Avital 4103LX
DBALL2 flashed with 402.GM1 v4.00 firmware with a XKLOADER2
Wired as followed (as far as I can remember):
H1/6: (Brown) Horn Wire in Steering Column (BLACK / YELLOW)
H1/8: (Black) To new Ground
H1/9: (White) To Headlight Switch (White)
Satellite Harness 4103LX Status Output (Blue) --> DBALL H10/10 GRW (Status) Input (Blue/White)
Satellite Harness 4103LX Starter Output (Purple) –-> DBALL H10/8 Starter Input (Violet)
H2/1: (BLACK/ White) - Neutral Safety Switch wired to Ground
H2/3: (Brown) - To Brake switch (White)
H2/4: (Gray) - To included new hood pin switch
Avital 4103LX Door Lock Harness (Blue) --> DBALL H10/2 (Blue)
Avital 4103LX Door Lock Harness (Green) --> DBALL H10/1 (Green)
Heavy Gauge Wiring:
1: (Pink) - To Ignition Harness (Pink)
2: (Purple) - To Ignition Harness (Yellow)
3: (Orange) - To Ignition Harness (Orange)
4: (Red) - Wired directly to fuse box post in engine bay
5: (Pink/White) - To Ignition Harness (White)
6: (Red) - Wired directly to fuse box post in engine bay
DBALL H10/9 (Pink) –-> Avital H1/3 (Yellow) {I believe I tied this into the Ignition Harness (Pink) with the heavy Gauge harness}
DBALL H14/2 (Violet / YELLOW) –-> OBD2 Connector (Purple?)
DBALL H12/5 Tach Output (Violet/White) --> Avital H2/2 Tach Input (Violet/White)
DBALL H14/13 (Red) – Tied into new wires that run to main fuse box post
DBALL H14/14 (Black) –-> To new Ground (same as Avital)
DBALL H10/3 (RED / White) --> Avital H1/7 (RED / White)
----------------------------------------------------------
DBALL seemed to properly initialize (Green light for 3 Seconds) and has correct amber flashing when pressing unlock/lock buttons on either stock remote or avital remote.
Performed the Tach Learning procedure and seemed to pass. (Light was constant).
I was trying to do the Bitwriter to D2D procedure but light on the Avital 4103 wasn't doing anything, even with the D2D wire unplugged, the DBALL would flash green, though.
I am not sure what I have done wrong.

Are you doing this D2D or W2W?
Satellite Harness 4103LX Starter Output (Purple) –-> DBALL H10/8 Starter Input (Violet) is used to run a relay. Disconnect it.
You need to power up the second accessory (BROWN) (test to verify)
Use the Orange(-)from the satellite harness to drive a relay to power up the second accessory.

Yes trying to run D2D.
Removed starter output connection from satellite harness to DBALL.
Ran a relay as followed:
86 & 87 Constant power from previously mentioned two fused wires to post on engine bay fuse box.
85 orange wire on satellite harness if avital 4103
30 to brown wire on cars ignition harness.
Now the instrument cluster comes on but no radio. Still no start.

If D2D the only wire from the DBALL should be the Pin 2 from the 14 pin connector.
What happens?
Cranks but no start?
No crank?
Tries to start 3 times and quits?
Starts but dies?
Try the Shutdown Diagnostics to determine reason for shutdown.

OK removed all wires on DBALL EXCEPT OBD2 wire.
Getting instrument cluster and radio for a second the cuts off.
No cranking at all.
Avital key fob unlock and locks car.
Dball shows amber flashes for lock/unlock commands. Does four green flashes, then an amber flash, then two more green flashes when trying to start car before power cuts out on cluster and radio.

Put a DMM on the starter output (purple wire) of the avital to see if there is 12 volts during remote start.
Check the output of the other heavy gauge wires for proper voltage.(Ignition 1&2, Acc, 1&2).
Try reprograming the DBALL.
What does the shutdown diagnostics show?

OK I got it working finally. Had to reset the dball. Then got code for brake wire. Found I had taped into wrong wire. Then I had a code for low rpm/no rpm. Had to rewire up tach signal to pcm (white) as another post had suggested that it wasn't needed. But it all seems good now.
Thanks smokeman1 you were a big help.
