Hello community!
Im working on my 2000 Mitsubishi Lancer GLXi (Mirage based lancer, not even close to an EVO)
this is the car
I bought the best seller Avital 3100LX (the one without siren) on amazon
almost done seting up, but Im having difficulties with the remote door lock/unlock feature.
From factory the car locks/unlocks 4 doors with key from outside and from drivers and co-pilot door lock/unlock lever inside
I removed the cover of the drivers door and found that the system is mechanichal from the lever to the lock, from there I have 5 cables going towards the fusebox below the steering wheel
Black - Ground
Red/White   - +12v continuos on lock
Red - +12 continuos on unlock
Blue/Red - +12v pulse on lock
Blue/Black - +12v pulse on unlock
What type of door lock system is this?
I tried using Blue/red and Blue/black connected to the alarm thinking the module would send those 12v pulse, but I got nothing
Should I be using this wires or trying to find something behind the fusebox? I already got the relay idientified
One other thing the Starter Interrupt seems to do nothing when alarm is armed. I cant start the engine anyway
I double checked the Constant 12v+ , Starter and Ignition wirings are good. If I remove the last two from the module I cannot crank the engine, so it seems its the module?
Thank You!

I can’t find a 2000 Lancer in the wiring database but you can try this one for the Mirage. Says type B and the wire colors and location are listed.
